A few Greasemonkey scripts [2022-01-12]

Greasemonkey

I like websites that look simple, do not include a ton of javascript, and generally is easy on the eyes. As such I use a couple of Firefox Greasemonkey plugins to make part of the internet look like the mid 2000s.

For example:

  • Instead of Twitter we can use a Nitter instance
  • Instead of Reddit we can use a Teddit instance
  • Instead of YouTube we can use an Invidious instance

Twitter

Redirect any twitter link to nitter instance.

NPO player fix

Now this one is for Dutch people. As you may know the website npostart.nl really sucks, especially the video player. The following greasemonkey script will fix some of its shortcomings.
